Word of the Day: Action
In a world of electronic soapboxes let us take a little time that might be spent computing, go meet new people and participate. This could take any number of forms for in many towns volunteer organizations are suffering for lack of participation while blogspots are flooded with comments of outrage at the injustice of the day. For instance here in Flagstaff we have a bicycle advisory board that meets monthly with the City Council to discuss bicycle advicacy. This has been in place for over a decade and struggles to have more than half of its seven seats full for one, maybe two meetings a month. This is one example of where you can express your opinion and be heard by some one that might be able to do something about it. Check out FlagstaffBiking.org for more information. If your talents lend themselves more toward trail mantainance or taking kids riding your imagination is the only limiter. Get involved.

Brilliant!

Thanks for the comment. You are right to point out the ads on this site do not always reflect the editorial perspective. I assure you, however, that is by design. First, because we have little idea of who our advertisers will be we have little incentive to tailor our content accordingly. Second, the use of affiliate advertising provides a modest income to cover our expenses while demanding a minimum of our time. We hope the time and energy saved doing so is reflected in more thorough content on the site and greater opportunity for action off of it.
That said we are always looking for ways to improve our content and advertising. If you have any suggestions or would like to contribute content relating to advertising or the automotive industry we invite you to do so. If not please feel free not to click any ad you find personally disagreeable.
